Search within Navigation Explorer

The Search box at the top of the Navigation Explorer enables quick searching across all folders in Oracle Insurance Rules Workbench. This functionality eliminates the need to manually expand the collapsible layout, allowing direct access to relevant configuration items.

How to Perform a Search

1. Enter a keyword in the Search field at the top of the Navigation Explorer.

2. Click the Search icon search to initiate the search.

3. If the term exists, all matching entries are returned as a result and the corresponding folders or nodes expand.

4. If the search term matches available items, all relevant entries are displayed and the corresponding folders or nodes automatically expand.

5. Select any configuration item in the search results to open it in the Configuration Area.

Example: Entering the term Company returns results such as GetSubsidiaryCompanyNames and CompanyCosmetics within the Navigation Explorer, displayed under their respective locations.

Advance Search

The global search functionality has been enhanced to include all relevant entities within the Global and Administration sections.

The search functionality ensures complete coverage of all entities within these sections up to the rule node level. The search operates on UI tree nodes by dynamically expanding them and triggering backend calls to fetch reference links for entities up to one level deep.

This enhancement now includes both global and administration nodes, providing more comprehensive and accurate search results across the application.
